Job Summary

Hard Rock Cafe is seeking a friendly, energetic, and dependable Cafe Server to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will provide attentive service, take accurate food and beverage orders, deliver items promptly, answer guest questions, maintain clean and organized tables, and work closely with the restaurant team to create an enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service
• Present menus and explain food and beverage options
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Enter orders correctly into the POS system
• Communicate special requests and dietary needs to the appropriate team members
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately
• Check on guests regularly and respond to requests throughout the dining experience
• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and available options
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables
• Clear and reset tables efficiently
• Process payments and handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Coordinate with hosts, kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members
• Maintain clean and stocked service stations
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and assigned side-work duties
• Handle guest concerns professionally and communicate issues to management when necessary
• Support coworkers during busy service periods

Requirements

• Previous server, café, restaurant, hospitality, or food-service experience preferred but not required
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dining environment
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic POS and payment-handling knowledge is a plus
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and busy service periods

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
