Café Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cafe supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising all cafe operations, including crafting high-quality coffee and teas, providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, assisting with staff management, customer service, inventory management and leading an example ensuring that our customers have an unforgettable experience from the moment they enter our establishment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards during food preparation and service.

• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.

• Engage with customers, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.

• Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in basic maths calculations.

• Team management demonstrating behaviours, work ethic and values of our cafe.

• Provide help to customers as needed, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.

• Working close to management, reporting and helping to create best opportunities for the business

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Experience in simple food preparation is advantageous but not essential.
• Management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively.
• A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
