About the Role
As Cafe Supervisor, you’ll run the coffee and cafe side of the venue day to day. You’ll lead a small team of baristas and floor staff, keep our standards high, and make sure every guest gets a great cup and a warm welcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the cafe team during service, allocating tasks and keeping things running smoothly in a fast-paced environment
• Prepare and serve espresso, cappuccino, lattes and other coffee beverages to a consistently high standard
• Train and coach baristas and new team members on coffee quality, service and venue standards
• Deliver friendly, attentive customer service, make recommendations, and resolve guest issues on the spot
• Maintain a clean, organised coffee station and cafe floor in line with food safety and hygiene requirements
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, stock ordering, cash handling and rostering support
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to keep service seamless across the venue

About You

• Previous experience as a barista, with some supervisory or team leader experience (preferred)
• A genuine passion for coffee and great customer service
• A keen eye for detail and consistency in every cup
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to lead by example
• Flexibility to work a mix of shifts, including weekends
• RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
