Cafe Supervisor Weekend

The Role

We’re looking for a reliable, switched-on Weekend Supervisor to help run service at our Café during our busiest times.

Weekends are where everything comes together. Families, regulars, park traffic, takeaway rushes… it can get full on.

So this role is about being present, aware, and in control without making it feel heavy.

You’ll be leading shifts, supporting the team, and making sure service flows properly from open through to close.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Weekend Shifts

• Take ownership of weekend service from open to close
• Keep things running smoothly during busy periods
• Step in quickly when things start to slip

Team Support

• Guide and support the team on shift
• Help organise roles so everyone knows what they’re doing
• Keep morale up when it gets hectic (which it will)

Customer Experience

• Maintain a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere even when busy
• Handle customer issues confidently and calmly
• Keep service moving without rushing people out the door

Standards

• Ensure the café stays clean, organised and well presented
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Support stock checks and basic prep where needed

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a café, bar or restaurant environment
• Previous supervisor or senior team member experience preferred
• Someone who can stay calm and make quick decisions under pressure
• Strong communication and natural leadership
• Reliable and consistent… weekends matter here

Hours

• Primarily Saturday & Sunday
• Potential for additional shifts during peak periods or events
