Cafe Team Member

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Cafe Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing a variety of food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, a strong understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders
• Prepare non-alcoholic beverages with attention to quality and presentation
• Cook and assemble cafe food items such as paninis, salads, and breakfast offerings
• Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed during food preparation and handling
• Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including countertops, equipment, and dining spaces
• Follow proper cleaning procedures to uphold hygiene standards
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing exceptional customer service
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety practices and standards is essential
• Experience in preparing non-alcoholic beverages and cafe-style foods is advantageous
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are important for success in this role

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
