Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders, sales transactions, and cash handling accurately.
• Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following sanitation protocols, including food safety management and kitchen equipment upkeep.
• Manage food service customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and excellent service.
• Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and reconcile cash at the end of shifts.
• Support retail sales transactions when needed, assisting customers with product inquiries or purchases in the café or retail area.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, blenders, coffee machines, and other food preparation tools.
• Uphold food handling standards by adhering to sanitation guidelines and food safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations while demonstrating excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cashiering experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation practices within the food industry.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
• Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Proven customer service skills with a friendly attitude that creates positive interactions.
• Retail sales experience or grocery store background is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $10.00 per hour
