Duties

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards.
• Operate the CLOVER POS system to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food items and beverages with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction through friendly interaction and prompt service.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, give correct change, and balance registers at the end of shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness by regularly cleaning workstations, equipment, dining areas, and adhering to food safety standards.
• Assist with food handling and preparation tasks to support overall café operations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Familiarity with the Clover POS systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Barista experience or beverage service background enhances your ability to excel in this role.
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
