Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders, providing friendly and efficient service.
• Prepare non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks following established recipes and standards.
• Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, counters, and equipment to uphold food safety standards.
• Restock supplies regularly to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Follow food handling procedures carefully to ensure safety and quality for all customers.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or café environments with barista experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities.
• Ability to prepare beverages accurately while maintaining speed during busy hours.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and giving accurate change.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
