Café Team Member

Job Summary

The Mill on Leavenworth is seeking a friendly, dependable, and energetic Café Team Member to support daily café operations and provide welcoming service to guests. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people, learn new tasks quickly, and help maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable café environment.

This role may involve taking orders, preparing coffee and other beverages, assisting with food service, handling payments, and keeping guest and work areas clean. Team members will work together to maintain service quality and ensure an efficient workflow throughout each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist them with menu questions.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to café procedures.
• Assist with serving food and packaging takeaway orders.
• Process payments and handle cash according to company procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized counters, tables, and service stations.
• Restock cups, lids, napkins, ingredients, and other café supplies.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
• Coordinate with baristas and other team members during busy service periods.
• Monitor supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with opening, closing, and routine cleaning duties.
• Respond to guest requests politely and refer concerns to management when needed.
