Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their beverage and food selections, ensuring a friendly and engaging atmosphere
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for transactions, including cash handling and card payments
• Prepare coffee beverages, snacks, and light food items following safety and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Manage time efficiently to handle busy periods, ensuring prompt service without sacrificing quality
• Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and assist with food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards
• Support cashiers with basic math calculations for transactions and provide excellent customer service throughout each shift

Experience

• Previous barista or coffee shop experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with coffee preparation techniques
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic math for cashiering and retail transactions
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in food preparation or serving within a café or retail setting is a plus
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
