Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cafeteria Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of our cafeteria, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafeteria and dining areas
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, brewing coffee, and assembling sandwiches
- Provide excellent customer service to all cafeteria guests
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Help with setting up and breaking down serving stations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Familiarity with working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the food industry, catering, hospitality, or restaurant settings is a plus
