Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of food items, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen and dining areas following food safety sanitizing procedures.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, dishwashers, and food prep tools.
• Handle manual tasks such as weighing ingredients, portioning food, and processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing any dietary or special requests.
• Support catering and banquet events by setting up serving stations and assisting with food distribution.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in fine dining, restaurant service, or catering environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices within the food industry.
• Familiarity with food safety management and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and handle weight in the workplace responsibly.
• Strong customer service skills with experience in in-person interactions and serving diverse clientele.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, portioning, and inventory calculations.
• Experience with POS systems for processing transactions efficiently.
• Additional experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus; dietary aide or hospitality experience is beneficial.
