CAFM & Data Analytics Specialist

About the role. specialist auditor for digital FM platforms, chiefly CAFM, BMS and Building X. You will test data quality, ticket integrity, asset hierarchies and integration logs so that reported KPIs and KRIs reflect real service delivery. Your work provides the data foundation for KPI/KRI verification by the Hard and Soft Service Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Audit CAFM data models, asset registers, hierarchies and coding structures against approved asset lists and standards.

• Review work-order lifecycles end to end: classification, priority coding, timestamps, closure evidence and closure-gate controls.

• Test ticket-integrity controls to detect and prevent manipulation.

• Monitor data-quality metrics (completeness, accuracy, timeliness, duplication) for key datasets.

• Check interface/API logs and scheduled data exchanges between CAFM, Building X, BMS and other systems; record failures, delays and manual workarounds.

• Review user roles, permissions and audit trails against approved controls.

• Prepare system-based evidence packs for audits, committee packs and benchmarking.

• Recommend corrective actions (data cleansing, user training, configuration changes) and track completion.

Scope of authority

• May log data issues, system defects and control weaknesses, and request extracts, logs and configuration details from vendors and service providers.

• May not change production configurations, bypass change control, or alter reported KPI values without traceable evidence and management agreement.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with CAFM, EAM or CMMS platforms in a client, consultant or service-provider role.

• Desirable: ITIL Foundation, vendor-specific CAFM or Building X training, data-management or analytics qualifications.

Knowledge and skills

• How FM processes, asset hierarchies and PPM schedules are represented in CAFM.

• Integration concepts, system logs and query tools for data extraction.

• Advanced Excel or similar for profiling and validating datasets; able to trace dashboard numbers back to source transactions.

• Methodical and detail-oriented in testing and verification.

• Curious; follows issues through to root cause.

• Explains system findings simply and keeps an independent stance with vendors and providers.

How success is measured

• Percentage of high-priority data-quality issues resolved within agreed time frames.

• Reduction in repeated data errors and closure-gate failures.

• Reduction in failed or delayed integrations.

• Availability and quality of system-based evidence for audits and committees.

• User feedback on the usefulness of systems guidance.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
