CAFT Host

We’re looking for a friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic CAFT Host to join our team. The role requires working two weekends per month, for 12 hours each weekend.

Our Hosts play a really important part in making every visit to CAFT special. Working alongside our Senior Host, wider team and fantastic volunteers, you’ll help make sure our visitors receive the warm welcome and high standard of care that CAFT is known for.

The role includes:

Food preparation and helping at mealtimes

Cleaning, laundry and preparing bedrooms

Welcoming and interacting with schools, organisations and families

Working closely with colleagues and volunteers to keep everything running smoothly

Helping us maintain a safe, welcoming and happy environment for everyone who visits

Experience of working with children or young people, or within a kitchen or cleaning role, would be beneficial but just as important is a positive attitude, great teamwork and a willingness to get stuck in!
