Duties

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions efficiently
• Handle cash drawer management, including cash handling and balancing registers at shift end
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Maintain phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support in supervising team members during shifts, ensuring smooth store operations and excellent service deliveryRequirements
• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems and cashiering procedures is essential
• Strong communication skills in bilingual settings (Spanish/English or other languages) are advantageous
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
• Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising, and stock management practices
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with professional phone etiquette
• Supervising experience is a plus, indicating leadership capabilities in a retail setting
