Responsibilities

• Assemble cakes according to specific recipes and design specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Decorate cakes with icing, fondant, toppings, and other embellishments using cake decorating techniques.
• Prepare ingredients and perform food preparation tasks in line with food safety standards.
• Package finished cakes carefully to prevent damage during transportation or display.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including kitchen equipment and tools.
• Follow all food handling protocols to ensure safety and hygiene are upheld at all times.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies of ingredients, decorations, and packaging materials.

Experience

• Previous experience in cake decorating or bakery environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with food preparation, baking processes, and kitchen safety regulations.
• Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills to engage with clients or team members positively.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and proper sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $15.70-$20.00 per hour
