Job Summary

Our client, a restaurant located in World Bank, Umugwuma, Owerri, Imo State, is seeking a skilled and creative Cake Baker to prepare, bake, and decorate cakes according to customer preferences and business requirements.

The ideal candidate must have practical experience in cake baking and decoration, a good understanding of baking techniques, and the ability to maintain consistent product quality and hygiene standards.

Important: The successful candidate must reside around Poly Nekede, Owerri. The company will provide a vehicle to convey the candidate from Poly Nekede, to workplace at World Bank, Umugwuma, and return the candidate to Poly after work.

Responsibilities

· Prepare and bake different types of cakes according to customer orders.

· Decorate cakes to meet customers specifications and expectations,

· Measure and mix ingredients accurately to ensure consistent quality

· Ensure cakes are fresh, well presented, and meet quality standards.

· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the baking areas.

· Manage cake orders and ensure timely preparation and delivery.

· Monitor baking supplies and report shortages when necessary.

· Minimize ingredients waste and use baking materials efficiently.

· Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

· Ensure customer order are handled carefully to prevent damage.

· Maintain consistency in the taste, texture, and appearance of cake.

Requirements

· Previous experience in cake baking and decoration.

· Good knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and cake decoration.

· Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

· Creativity and attention to details

· Ability to work independently and meet deadline.

· Good time management and organizational skills.

· Must be hardworking, neat, and reliable

· Must reside around poly Nekede, Owerri, or nearby areas.

· Ability to work Five days a week.

Pay: ₦50,000.00 - ₦70,000.00 per month
