Responsibilities

• Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications, ensuring visual appeal and quality.
• Prepare cake batter, fillings, frostings, and other components as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production of orders.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and taking special requests.
• Follow recipes accurately while also being able to innovate new designs and flavors.
• Assist in inventory management of baking supplies and ingredients.

Experience

• Proven experience in cake decorating or pastry arts is preferred.
• Background in food production or preparation within the food industry is advantageous.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is a plus.
• Strong culinary skills, including baking, knife skills, and cooking techniques.
