Cake Decorator

Job Overview
Prepare and decorate cakes, cupcakes, and other desserts for customer orders and store displays. Maintain consistent quality, attractive presentation, and timely order completion while supporting daily bakery operations.

Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes using icing, piping, writing, borders, flowers, and other decorating techniques.
• Follow customer requests and confirm order details, including design, size, flavor, and pickup time.
• Prepare fillings and icings, assemble cakes, and finish products according to department standards.
• Keep displays stocked, organized, and appealing.
• Package, label, date, and store products properly.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and product rotation procedures.
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean.
• Monitor supplies, minimize waste, and communicate production needs to the supervisor.
• Assist with other bakery and store duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous cake decorating experience preferred.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and good time management.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete orders accurately.
• Friendly customer service and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
