Cake Decorator / Pastry Assistant

Toki Bliss in Milpitas is looking for a reliable cake decorator / pastry assistant with hands-on experience to help our baker prepare and decorate cakes and desserts.

Pay: $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Weekday and Weekends, 8am–4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare, fill, assemble and decorate cakes and individual desserts.
• Frost cakes smoothly and create piping and decorative finishes.
• Prepare creams, fillings and toppings following our recipes.
• Follow customer order details, including cake size, design, messages and pickup times.
• Work with our baker to plan ahead and complete orders on time.
• Keep ingredients, tools and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow food safety and proper storage procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous cake decorating or pastry experience, including basic frosting and piping.
• Good attention to detail and care with presentation.
• Reliable, organized and able to work during busy periods.
• Willing to learn our recipes and decorating styles.
• Able to work the listed schedule, including Saturdays or Sundays.
