Duties

• Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, pastries, and baked goods following established recipes and quality standards
• Decorate cakes with precision, creativity, and attention to detail using various cake decorating techniques
• Manage dough preparation, including mixing, rolling, and shaping for different baked items
• Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, piping tools, and refrigeration units safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards
• Package finished products securely for delivery or display while ensuring presentation quality
• Assist in food production tasks related to catering events or large orders to meet high-volume demands

Experience

• Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation within a commercial kitchen or bakery setting
• Strong cake decorating skills with an eye for detail and artistic flair
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and piping tools
• Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in baked goods quality
• Experience in high-volume production environments preferred but not required
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to strict deadlines

Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
