Calibration Technician

About the role

Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measuring and testing instruments through regular calibration. Maintains calibration records and supports compliance with quality management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and implements calibration schedules for all tools and instruments used in production and quality control
• Maintains and updates calibration records, certificates, and traceability documents
• Coordinates with external laboratories for third-party calibration services as needed
• Verifies that calibrated tools meet required accuracy and compliance standards
• Issues calibration labels and ensures instruments are within validity dates
• Provides support during internal and external audits related to instrument calibration
• Trains personnel on proper handling and care of measuring instruments
• Coordinates with internal departments and external calibration service providers
• Maintains a master list of measuring instruments company-wide

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in instrument calibration
• Familiarity with ISO standards and quality audits
• ISO 17025 training is an advantage
