Calibration Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Calibration Engineer / Technician to join our team in Metromac - Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out calibration and certification activities while ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with applicable standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and certification of Dimensional, Mechanical , Electrical, Force, and Torque instruments.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of calibration and certification activities.
• Ensure calibration activities are carried out in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and traceability of calibration results and records.
• Support the team in maintaining calibration quality and technical standards.
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members or subordinates, when required.

Eligibility Criteria

• Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in calibration services.
• Good practical and technical knowledge of calibration activities.
• Experience working in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 will be an added advantage.
• Ability to provide training and technical guidance to subordinates, when required.
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and other standard office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate technical records.

Working Days: Sunday to Thursday
Working Hours: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
