Calibration Technician

Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Calibration Technician who is able to calibrate wide variety of instruments and tools. The ideal candidate will have experience working with different types of calibration equipment and will be able to troubleshoot any issues that may arise. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented and who has good communication skills.

In this role applicants will be responsible for making sure the instruments and testing devices are calibrated correctly and give accurate readings in line with standards.

The role will be both field and office based, requiring applicants to stay on top of recording calibrations and producing technical reports.

Inspect, perform, and document calibrations according to company policies and procedures

Keep equipment operating within specified ranges according to manufacturer’s specifications

Assure that equipment is calibrated and maintained according to ISO, government, and safety regulations

Perform preventive maintenance and service of equipment

Maintain accurate records of calibrations and product changes

Applicants may need to travel to the site of work and interact directly with customers.

Must have knowledge of basics electronic equipments.

Proven work experience as a Calibration Technician or a similar role

Solid experience using Microsoft Office is necessary

Familiar with pressure, temperature, electrical, torque, dimensional, valve testing methods

Should have basic knowledge of CMC budgeting and familiar with uncertainties calculation.

Familiar with ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 & ISO 9001: 2015 requirements.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
