  • Previous experience working in a healthcare environment is required. Candidates must have experience in a medical clinic, healthcare call centre, hospital, diagnostic imaging facility, specialist office, or similar medical setting.
  • Minimum 1 year of healthcare administration, medical reception, patient services, or healthcare call centre experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with healthcare processes, patient referrals, and appointment scheduling.
  • Experience using electronic medical records (EMR), patient management software, or medical scheduling systems.
  • Strong understanding of patient confidentiality and healthcare privacy requirements.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, interpersonal skills, and verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage a high volume of calls while remaining organized, professional, and patient-focused.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive patient situations with empathy, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.

  • Familiarity with medical office workflows and communication with physicians and healthcare providers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize patient needs effectively.
