Calypso Developer

About the Role

Design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions on the Calypso Trading and Risk Management Platform. Support end-to-end trade lifecycle processes across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Treasury, and Risk Management functions. Configure Calypso workflows, trade processing, settlement, collateral management, and reporting modules. Develop and support integrations between Calypso and external systems such as market data providers, payment platforms, risk systems, and general ledger applications. Build and maintain APIs, interfaces, and messaging solutions to enable straight-through processing (STP). Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support platform upgrades and releases. Collaborate with traders, operations teams, business analysts, architects, and technology stakeholders. Create technical documentation, support testing activities, and ensure compliance with banking SDLC standards.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Calypso Platform and Capital Markets applications.
• 8+ Years of overall experience with minimum 1+ Years in Calypso development
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, SQL/PL-SQL, Oracle, REST APIs, and Unix/Linux.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, Interest Rate Swaps, Repos, and Treasury products.
• Experience with MQ, Kafka, JMS, FIX, and SWIFT messaging.
• Understanding of trade lifecycle management, settlements, risk, collateral, and regulatory reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Agile delivery and production support environments.
