CAM Engineer - PE/CAM

Your Responsibilities

• Should have adequate knowledge of InCAM Pro software to generate proper tooling for production by using all the option in InCAM Pro software

• Data preparation using CAM software (Eg : InCAMpro,U-CAM)

• Design check to capture the violation of customer design such as Netlist and drawing

• Capability checks to find out the gap between Internal capability Vs Customer design

• Experience in PCB or IC Substrate manufacturing

• Knowledge of :

  • DFM (Design for Manufacturability)
  • DRC (Design Rule Check)
  • Netlist verification
  • AOI & LDI data preparation
  • Manufacturing tooling preparation

• Ensure correct layer sequencing, alignment, and impedance stack-up as per IC substrate requirements.

• Support production trials, first-article builds, and rework activities.

• Prepare tooling’s (e.g., Litho Glass mask data, SR glass mask data, Back-end data etc) for manufacturing.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., automation, script development).

• Referring to DFM / VDA communication protocols prepared and confirmed by customer by Product engineering team for changes implementation as instructed from customer

• Contribute to problem-solving and root cause analysis when issues arise in production.

• Identify and implement improvements in CAM processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Your Profile

• Good technological knowledge and understanding, working experience in a similar industry preferred (PCB / IC Substrate/ PCB layout)

• 2 years similar working experience at PECAM will be preferred

• Bachelor’s in electronic & communication (E&C), Computer Science, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, & Industrial Engineering

• Good CAM (Computer Added Manufacturing) knowledge using UCAM or InCAMPro Software

• Computer skills – MS Office Package (Word, Excel)

• Good leadership skills & Team spirit (able to be part of a team and team leader as well)

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Good Stress Management skills.

• Good written and oral English

• Analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
