CAM Programmer 5 Axis

Role & responsibilities Develop CNC programs and toolpaths using CAM software. • Program 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining operations. • Read and interpret CAD models, engineering drawings, and GD&T. • Select suitable tools, fixtures, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies. • Perform CAM simulation, collision checking, and program verification. • Support machine setup, testing, and first-piece prove-out. • Troubleshoot and optimize CNC programs and machining processes. • Coordinate with Production, Design, Tool Room, and Quality teams. • Improve cycle time, productivity, and machining quality

Preferred candidate profile Hands-on experience in 5-Axis CAM Programming. • Knowledge of simultaneous and/or 3+2 axis machining. • Experience with Mastercam, PowerMill, NX CAM, HyperMILL, or similar software. • Good knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and cutting parameters. • Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD models. • Knowledge of CNC controllers and machining processes
