Join our dynamic team as a Camera Car Driver and become an essential part of our production operations! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating specialized vehicles equipped with camera equipment to capture high-quality footage for film, television, commercials, and live broadcasts. Your energetic approach and meticulous attention to safety will ensure smooth, efficient shoots while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Duties

• Safely operate camera cars and tow trucks, ensuring precise vehicle handling during filming sessions.
• Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to ensure optimal performance of camera cars and support vehicles.
• Assist with vehicle recovery towing, flatbed operations, and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks as needed.
• Maintain mechanical knowledge of automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and vehicle mechanics specific to truck drivers’ needs.
• Follow all safety procedures related to cargo securement, vehicle operation, and road safety regulations during filming shoots.
• Provide excellent customer service by coordinating with production teams, managing conflict situations professionally, and ensuring timely transportation of equipment and personnel.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving, including operating flatbeds, tow trucks, or similar heavy-duty vehicles.
• Mechanical experience with automotive diagnostics, minor mechanical repairs, and basic vehicle troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques for towing or recovery operations.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and automotive repair processes for trucks or camera cars.
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience in vehicle recovery towing is a plus.
• Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor under pressure.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with production crews and team members.

Pay: $7.25 - $8.25 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
