Camera Surveillance Auditor

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Camera Surveillance Auditor to review video footage and confirm that surveillance cameras are operating, positioned, and recording as expected. You’ll document issues clearly and help the team maintain reliable camera coverage across our locations.

Responsibilities

• Review camera feeds and recorded footage on a scheduled basis.
• Check that cameras are online, recording, and providing clear, unobstructed views.
• Identify blind spots, outages, poor image quality, incorrect camera angles, and other coverage issues.
• Record findings accurately, including camera or location details, timestamps, and supporting screenshots or clips when permitted.
• Report urgent issues promptly and escalate unresolved problems to the appropriate team.
• Track audit results and follow up to confirm reported issues have been addressed.
• Follow company procedures for privacy, data security, and handling surveillance footage.
• Prepare clear, timely audit summaries for supervisors or clients.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused while reviewing footage.
• Clear written communication and accurate recordkeeping.
• Comfortable using computers and learning video surveillance or monitoring software.
• Ability to follow procedures and handle confidential information responsibly.
• Prior experience in surveillance, security, quality assurance, or auditing is helpful but not required.
