JOB DESCRIPTION – CAMERAMAN

Position: Cameraman
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and skilled Cameraman / Camera Operator who can handle professional camera equipment and capture high-quality footage for films, videos, podcasts, promotional content, social media, events, and other production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate professional cameras, lenses, tripods, gimbals, and other camera equipment.
• Set up cameras, lighting, and basic production equipment before shoots.
• Capture high-quality video footage according to the creative requirements.
• Handle different types of indoor and outdoor shoots.
• Understand camera settings such as ISO, shutter speed, aperture, white balance, frame rate, and focus.
• Plan and execute appropriate camera angles, compositions, movements, and shots.
• Work closely with the Director, Production Team, and Editors during shoots.
• Ensure proper framing, exposure, focus, and overall visual quality.
• Manage and safely maintain camera equipment and accessories.
• Organize and transfer recorded footage and maintain proper file management.
• Assist in pre-production activities such as location scouting and shot planning when required.
• Follow production schedules and complete assigned shoots within deadlines.
• Adapt to different shooting environments and production requirements.

Preferred Experience

• 6 months to 5+ years of relevant experience can apply.
• Candidates with practical shooting experience will be preferred.
• Experience in filmmaking, advertisements, podcasts, events, corporate videos, or social media content is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree / Certification in Film Making, Cinematography, Mass Communication, Media Production, or a related field is preferred.
• Practical skills and portfolio/showreel may be considered along with educational qualifications.

• Creative and detail-oriented.
• Good understanding of visual storytelling.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willing to work on different locations and according to production schedules.
• Responsible for handling camera and production equipment carefully.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Salary

Salary: Based on skills, experience, practical performance, and interview.
