Cameraman

Job Purpose:

To capture high-quality visual content across studio, EFP, OB, live and digital production environments, supporting compelling storytelling and multi-platform content delivery through effective use of camera technologies and production workflows.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Capture high-quality visual content for studio, EFP, ENG, OB, live and digital productions in accordance with editorial and production requirements.
2. Operate a range of camera systems including pedestal, handheld, PTZ, robotic, jib and gimbal systems.
3. Apply visual storytelling techniques, camera composition and shot selection to enhance audience engagement and production value.
4. Support live, recorded, remote and multi-platform productions while ensuring technical and operational standards are maintained.
5. Collaborate with production teams and provide cross-functional support in lighting, audio and production operations as required, while adopting new production technologies and automation workflows.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Diploma or above in Broadcasting, Media Production, Film, Multimedia or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-5 years' experience in studio, EFP, ENG, OB or live production camera operations.
• Good knowledge of camera systems, camera support equipment, PTZ/robotic cameras, jib and gimbal operations.
• Familiarity with digital production workflows, remote production, IP-enabled production environments and automated production systems is an advantage.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support cross-functional production operations and willingness to learn new production technologies.
