Job Summary

The Camp Boss is responsible for the overall administration, discipline, welfare, housekeeping, security coordination, and smooth functioning of the labor accommodation camp. The role ensures a safe, hygienic, and well-maintained living environment for employees and workers while maintaining discipline and compliance with company policies. Preference will be given to Ex-Defence Personnel, Retired Armed Forces Personnel, or Agniveers due to their leadership, discipline, and camp management experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the labor accommodation camp.
2. Maintain discipline, order, and compliance with camp rules and company policies.
3. Manage worker accommodation allocation, room occupancy records, and movement registers.
4. Coordinate housekeeping, cleaning, waste management, and pest control activities.
5. Supervise catering and dining facility operations to ensure food quality and hygiene standards.
6. Conduct regular inspections of camp facilities, rooms, kitchens, washrooms, and common areas.
7. Coordinate with security personnel to maintain safety and security within the camp premises.
8. Address employee grievances related to accommodation and welfare in a timely manner.
9. Ensure uninterrupted availability of utilities such as water, electricity, and sanitation facilities.
10. Coordinate maintenance activities and report infrastructure issues for prompt resolution.
11. Maintain camp inventory, furniture, and accommodation-related assets.
12. Organize emergency response activities and ensure adherence to health, safety, and fire regulations.
13. Liaise with project administration teams, subcontractors, and service providers for camp-related matters.
14. Monitor camp occupancy, absenteeism, and worker welfare activities.
15. Prepare periodic reports on camp operations, maintenance, and disciplinary matters

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate or Diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in camp administration, facility management, labor accommodation, army units, defense establishments, or large workforce housing facilities.
• Experience in construction projects, infrastructure, industrial, oil & gas, or manufacturing sectors preferred.
• Ex-Defence Personnel, Retired Armed Forces Personnel, or Agniveers will be given preference.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to maintain discipline while ensuring employee welfare.
• Good administrative and record-keeping skills.
• Knowledge of housekeeping, facility management, and camp operations.
• Effective communication and conflict resolution abilities.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to work in remote project locations and manage a large workforce.

Preferred Profile

• Ex-Army, Navy, Air Force Personnel.
• Agniveer veterans with administrative or operational experience.
• Candidates with experience managing labor camp accommodation for a 300+ workforce.
• Strong background in security coordination, welfare management, and camp administration.
