About the Company
The Armenian General Benevolent Union was established in 1906 and is the world’s largest non-profit organization devoted to preserving and promoting the Armenian identity and heritage through educational, cultural, and humanitarian programs. AGBU currently has a presence in over 40 countries, annually touching the lives of some 500,000 Armenians worldwide.
About Camp Nubar
Founded in 1963, Camp Nubar is a six-week sleep-away summer camp located on its 365-acre home in the Catskill Mountains region of New York State. Each summer over 300 campers from all over the world (Canada, Europe, Eurasia, all across America) call Camp Nubar their home away from home. Camp Nubar has state-of-the-art facilities, a varied program, and is proud to offer a rich cultural experience in an environment that rivals the best privately owned summer camps in America. The goals of Camp Nubar are determined by a Committee of approximately 12 volunteer members, all alumni of the camp themselves.
