Campaign & Content Manager

About the role

This is a hands-on role blending content development, creative briefing and in-platform execution, with a strong focus on maintaining a high standard of customer-facing marketing across our core channels. By improving messaging consistency, strengthening execution quality and reducing ambiguity between strategy and delivery, you'll help increase confidence and speed in how content goes to market.

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Marketing & Customer, you'll work closely with our marketing, category, operations and retail teams to keep everything we publish clear, cohesive and on-brand.

What you'll be doing

• Promotion & campaign content development — translate campaign and promotion intent into clear, compelling customer messaging; write and refine headlines, hooks and supporting copy across channels; simplify complex promotional mechanics into easy-to-understand language; apply Bargain Chemist tone of voice consistently
• Content direction & creative briefing — develop clear creative briefs grounded in messaging intent; provide direction on layout, visual hierarchy and asset variants by channel; review creative outputs and provide structured feedback
• Channel execution — manage content updates across website, email, digital media, ABL media and in-store; make in-platform refinements to improve clarity and performance; quality check live environments before every campaign launch
• Stakeholder coordination — act as a key connector across marketing, category, operations and retail teams; communicate content guidance and requirements clearly and confidently

What you'll bring

• ~3–4 years' experience in a B2C marketing role, ideally within retail, FMCG, ecommerce or other high-volume campaign environments
• Proven experience developing and executing content across customer-facing channels
• Hands-on experience working within marketing platforms and managing content directly in-channel
• Strong copywriting and editing capability, with the ability to craft clear, customer-first messaging across formats
• Experience translating campaign direction into structured, channel-ready content with clear messaging hierarchy
• Confidence briefing and guiding creative outputs, including direction on messaging intent and asset structure
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality and consistency across fast-paced campaign activity
• An organised, reliable operator who takes direction, collaborates effectively and owns execution quality
