What they need
At Diocesan School for Girls, we are united by a shared purpose: to inspire and support the next generation of young women to be confident, resilient, and ready to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Every role at Dio contributes to this mission. Whether you're managing systems, coordinating events, supporting campus operations, or providing front-line service — your work plays an essential part in enabling our students to succeed.
We're seeking a practical, organised and values-driven Campus Coordinator to join our Campus team. We're a friendly, down-to-earth bunch who work together, get things done and take pride in great customer service. Reporting to the Campus Coordination Team Leader, you'll keep our school and boarding facilities running smoothly. You'll split your time between the desk and the campus, and you'll be the key link between staff, contractors and the Campus team.
Mō te tūranga: About the role
- Coordinate some campus projects and room upgrades from start to finish. You'll scope the work, manage timelines and budgets, source the right materials, and keep the Campus team and contractors on track to get the job done.
- Manage contractors and holiday works, including JSAs, Safety Seek compliance records, police vetting, safety checks and making sure work and invoices meet the agreed standard.
- Oversee our campus service contracts through regular inspections and meetings, so standards stay high.
- Handle purchasing, POs, PPE and consumables, plan the maintenance schedule, and keep our ticketing system, asset register and CAD layouts up to date.
Ngā pūkenga me whai: We're looking for someone with
- The ability to read building plans, with strong project, time and contractor management skills
- Confidence with Excel and MS Office. Experience with CAD and asset management systems is an advantage.
- Clear communication, a calm head under pressure, an eye for detail, and a can-do attitude. You'll ask lots of questions, work well with all kinds of personalities, and be happy to chip in, even if that means moving a few tables.
- A background in building services, trades, landscaping or building supplies would be helpful, along with good knowledge of materials and when work needs consent.
Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou | What we offer
Diocesan School for Girls is located in Epsom, Auckland, and offers a supportive environment where staff thrive professionally and personally. As part of our team, you'll enjoy:
