THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
Launch your finance career with the Finance Rotation Associate Program — a rotational experience designed for recent college graduates who want to build broad business acumen, grow a strong professional network, and contribute to work that supports Fannie Mae’s mission to make housing more accessible and sustainable.
As an associate, you will rotate through teams across the Finance Division, including areas such as Forecasting & Analytics, Business Unit CFOs, Financial Planning, Economic and Strategic Research, Capital Management & Analysis, Modeling & Data Science, and more.
Each rotation gives you hands-on exposure to meaningful work, experienced leaders, and real business challenges — helping you discover where your strengths, interests, and career goals intersect. Along the way, you will build relationships with peers, managers, and officers while developing the skills and confidence to make an impact from day one.
Beyond the desk: The program also creates opportunities to learn through off-site trips, immersive experiences, networking events, professional development sessions, and leadership programming —giving you a fuller view of Fannie Mae’s business, mission, and culture while helping you form lasting connections across the organization.
Examples of tasks and projects include:
- Contributing to analysis in making financial, or other business decisions
- Participating in audits of financial records, operating procedures, and internal controls for assigned business units
- Using AI to enhance and automate processes, and analyze information with more speed and depth in a safe and sound manner
- Analyze financial and operational data to prepare reports that help leaders evaluate performance, risks, and opportunities
- Assisting in coordinating the development and monitoring of key risk indicators
