Campus Instructional Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Campus Instructional Assistant to support classroom teachers/administrators and enhance the learning experience for our scholars. In this vital role, you will assist with implementing lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and providing personalized educational support to foster a positive and engaging environment and assisting the school administrator. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help nurture scholars’ development, ensuring they thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Duties

• Support teachers/administrators in planning and executing engaging lesson plans.
• Assist with classroom management by maintaining a positive environment, encouraging good behavior, and implementing behavior management strategies.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instructional support to scholars when needed.
• Aid in classroom and offce organization, including setting up materials, managing supplies, and preparing learning activities aligned with curriculum development.
• Help monitor scholar progress, document observations, and communicate updates to teachers regarding individual scholar needs.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and administrators.
• Assist in recruiting new scholars and promoting the academy.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in an educational setting or willing to learn.
• Possess a minimum of an associates degree and/or currently enrolled in an institution of higher learning.
• Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management assistance.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and scholars.
• Technical proficiency in using educational tools and classroom technology.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and professionalism.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 20.0 per week
