Campus Security Guard (On-Site)

Pay: $18.00/hour

We’re hiring Campus Security Guards to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment. This is a great opportunity to start a career in security with free of cost security training course and clear opportunities for advancement. Must have a flexible availability, the job locations are Pictou and Truro.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol campus grounds and buildings
• Monitor access points and ensure site safety
• Respond to incidents and emergencies professionally
• Provide assistance and information to students, staff, and visitors
• Complete reports and follow security procedures

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years old
• Able to obtain Security License through DOJ ( which will be completed after hiring)
• Able to pass background and criminal check to obtain Security License
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
