  • Assign and prioritize work to ensure cancellation requests, payments, and other responsibilities are completed accurately and within established timelines.
  • Monitor team workload, productivity, accuracy, and service levels, proactively addressing issues or shifting priorities when necessary.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for team questions, complex cancellation issues, payment discrepancies, and internal or external customer concerns.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and training to strengthen employee performance, knowledge, and professional development.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members and ensure consistent understanding of processes, procedures, and expectations.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with direct reports to review priorities, performance, challenges, and development opportunities.
  • Partner with Accounting leadership regarding employee performance, development needs, process concerns, and departmental priorities.
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, consistency, and a strong customer-service mindset across the team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, documentation, and controls and help lead the implementation of improvements.

Cancellations & Payables

  • Maintain an active individual workload and perform day-to-day cancellation and payable responsibilities alongside the team.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies; identify, resolve, and correct errors promptly.
  • Review approved payables and verify amounts for accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness.
  • Manage warranty contract cancellations with efficiency and consistency while handling a high volume of requests.
  • Consistently ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
  • Communicate with automotive dealers and lienholders to obtain necessary documentation and confirm payment status.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Work collaboratively as a flexible team player to support department goals and broader accounting objectives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Prepare reports and analyses as needed to support decision-making, workload management, and operational visibility.
  • Help ensure team processes and procedures are consistently followed and appropriately documented.
  • Uphold Cadence Innovations Group values, including transparency, innovation, work/life balance, and ethics.
  • Perform additional duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience providing team leadership, training, mentoring, or day-to-day work direction preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example while maintaining individual responsibilities and supporting the performance of others.
