Cannabis Delivery Driver

About the Position

PrimeTime Cannabis is seeking reliable, professional, and customer-focused Cannabis Delivery Drivers to join our team. Delivery Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently delivering customer orders while providing the same high level of service customers receive inside our dispensary.

This is a use-your-own-vehicle delivery position. Drivers are responsible for providing and maintaining their own reliable vehicle and are responsible for all vehicle-related expenses, including gasoline, maintenance, repairs, registration, tolls, and automobile insurance. PrimeTime Cannabis does not provide a company vehicle or reimbursement for these expenses unless otherwise stated by management.

Delivery Drivers keep 100% of the tips they personally earn from customers.

Responsibilities

As a Cannabis Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Safely and efficiently delivering cannabis orders to customers throughout our approved delivery area.
• Using your own personal vehicle to complete assigned deliveries.
• Verifying customer identification and eligibility in accordance with New York State cannabis regulations and PrimeTime Cannabis procedures.
• Ensuring every order is delivered accurately and to the correct customer.
• Following all company procedures regarding cannabis transportation, delivery, security, customer verification, and documentation.
• Maintaining accurate records for all assigned deliveries.
• Communicating with store management regarding delivery status, delays, customer concerns, or other issues.
• Handling cannabis products, payments, and customer information securely and professionally.
• Providing friendly, respectful, and professional customer service during every delivery.
• Following all traffic laws and operating your vehicle safely at all times.
• Returning all required documentation, payments, undelivered products, and company property to the dispensary at the completion of assigned deliveries.
• Assisting with additional delivery or dispensary responsibilities when needed.

Driver Vehicle & Expense Responsibility

Applicants should understand the following requirements before applying:

• Drivers must provide their own reliable vehicle.
• Drivers are responsible for their own gasoline.
• Drivers are responsible for maintaining their own automobile insurance.
• Drivers are responsible for vehicle maintenance, repairs, registration, tolls, and other expenses associated with operating their vehicle.
• The vehicle must be legally registered, insured, safe, and reliable for regular delivery use.
• Drivers keep 100% of the tips they personally earn while completing deliveries.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Have a clean and acceptable driving history.
• Provide their own reliable vehicle.
• Maintain valid vehicle registration and required automobile insurance.
• Be willing and able to successfully complete a Level 2 background check and any other screening or regulatory requirements applicable to the position.
• Have a reliable smartphone with GPS/navigation capabilities.
• Be comfortable driving throughout Brooklyn and other approved delivery areas.
• Be dependable, punctual, organized, and professional.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Be capable of following detailed procedures involving regulated cannabis products, customer verification, security, and delivery documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling customer information.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, rideshare driver, retail employee, or cannabis industry employee is preferred but not required.

Knowledge of Brooklyn and the surrounding area is a plus.

We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, strong customer-service skills, and a willingness to learn.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
