Cannabis Processing Associate – Freezer & Extraction Support

Mount Olympus Manufacturing is looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to assist with cannabis processing and extraction operations at our manufacturing facility in Canastota, NY.

A significant portion of this position involves working inside a freezer, handling and preparing frozen cannabis materials for extraction. Daily responsibilities also include weighing raw materials and finished goods, organizing inventory, assisting with production equipment, and maintaining accurate records.

This is a physically active position that requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work consistently in cold temperatures.

Previous cannabis or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Work regularly inside a freezer to retrieve, organize, weigh, and prepare frozen cannabis materials for processing
• Prepare and stage frozen materials for daily extraction runs
• Load, unload, and transport materials between freezer storage and production areas
• Weigh, label, and document raw materials and finished goods
• Assist extraction staff with equipment loading, unloading, and general processing activities
• Maintain accurate inventory and production records
• Organize and store materials according to company procedures
• Clean and maintain production equipment, tools, and workstations
• Monitor material organization and storage conditions
• Follow all company safety procedures and state cannabis regulations
• Assist with additional manufacturing and production tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be comfortable working in freezer temperatures for extended periods throughout the workday
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Comfortable standing, bending, and moving materials throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when weighing and documenting materials
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Basic math and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in cannabis processing, cold storage, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is a plus

Work Environment

Regular freezer work is a core requirement of this position. Employees will spend a significant amount of time handling frozen materials in cold storage areas, in addition to working on the production floor.

The position involves frequent lifting, standing, repetitive movements, and handling of raw materials and finished products.

Appropriate protective equipment and training will be provided.

• Full-time, on-site position
