*Additional cross training in the Red Light District Cultivation also a possibility

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting cannabis products tailored to their needs and preferences
• Provide detailed product demos and educate customers on different strains, consumption methods, and effects
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash transactions
• Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
• Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and assist with inventory management procedures
• Uphold phone etiquette when answering inquiries ensuring clear communication at all times
• Be a catalyst for positivity in the workplace by taking pride and ownership of work
• Know the state laws

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain Alaska Marijuana Handlers Permit and Municipal Food Handlers Card to work on premises
• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a dispensary, coffee shop, Bar/Lounge or similar environment with customer interactions
• Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse clientele
• Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
• Experience with product demos, merchandising, stocking, and upselling techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Familiarity with cannabis products or willingness to learn industry-specific regulations and product details
• Comply with legal daily sales amount of cannabis flower and or cannabis products
• Punctuality and a positive attitude a must
