Cannabis Technician

Duties

• Assist in the planting, watering, and harvesting of cannabis plants according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Manage irrigation systems and monitor agricultural environmental control systems to maintain ideal growing conditions.
• Perform routine plant care activities such as pruning, trimming, low-stress/high-stress training and trellising to promote healthy growth.
• Implement integrated pest management strategies to prevent and control pests and diseases while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cultivation areas.
• Conduct regular plant identification checks to monitor plant health and growth stages.
• Support crop production by managing irrigation schedules, adjusting environmental controls, and documenting growth data accurately.

Experience

• Prior experience in horticulture, greenhouse cultivation, or farming environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation management, agricultural environmental control systems, and crop pest management techniques.
• Hands-on experience with gardening tools, hand tools, and mechanical knowledge related to cultivation equipment.
• Familiarity with plant pest control methods, lawn care, landscaping, and general farming practices.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail with basic math skills for measurements and data recording.
• Excellent teamwork skills with experience managing horticultural teams or collaborating within a cultivation environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
