Canteen Manager

Stirling East Primary School is seeking an organised and motivated Canteen Manager to join our team. This position is a casual role, working 21 hours a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the school term.

As the Canteen Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our canteen and deliver high-quality food and customer service to students and staff at Stirling East Primary School.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage daily canteen operations and food service
• Manage stock, ordering and suppliers
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and WHS standards
• Monitor sales, cash handling and costs
• Supervise and roster volunteers
• Deliver excellent customer service

About you:

• Previous experience in hospitality, catering or food service preferred
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Excellent customer service and communication
• Knowledge of food safety requirements
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment

Position: Casual - Monday, Wednesday and Friday in school term
Location: Stirling East Primary School
Salary: $43 per hour (above award)
