Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing in designated neighborhoods to introduce our programs and initiatives.
• Engage in friendly, face-to-face conversations with community members to inform and educate them about our mission.
• Build rapport through conversational engagement, active listening, and effective communication skills.
• Navigate outdoor environments confidently, walking door-to-door for extended periods in various weather conditions.
• Use negotiation techniques to address questions or concerns from community members while maintaining a positive attitude.

Experience

• Prior field sales or canvassing experience is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• Experience in marketing or community outreach programs is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are preferred to effectively communicate with a broader range of community members.
• Demonstrated outdoor work experience, including walking extensively and working independently.
• Supervising experience or leadership roles are beneficial for those interested in growth opportunities within outreach teams.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, especially face-to-face interaction and conversational engagement.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
