Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned neighborhoods or areas to promote programs, services, or fundraising campaigns
• Engage in friendly, face-to-face conversations with community members to explain initiatives and answer questions
• Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, gather data, and track progress efficiently
• Distribute informational materials and promotional items to residents and local businesses
• Identify potential supporters or clients through conversational engagement and persuasive communication
• Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and optimize coverage of target areas
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude during outdoor work in various weather conditions

Experience

• Prior field sales or canvassing experience is highly desirable, especially in outdoor or community settings
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect naturally with diverse audiences
• Experience in customer service, telemarketing, or face-to-face sales roles is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing time effectively during outdoor activities
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging with a broader range of community members
• Supervising experience or leadership roles in outreach campaigns are beneficial but not required
• Familiarity with community engagement strategies, fundraising efforts, or marketing campaigns enhances success in this role

Pay: $900.00 - $1,800.00 per week
