Capacity Analyst

Title: Assistant Merchandiser - Central Capacity Planning

Employment Type: Contractual for 6 months (Substitute - Maternity cover)

Job Description:

• Follow up with teams to get the loading figures, compare against the previous figures to identify growth or decline
• Reserve capacity with the factories and get trigger dates when the relevant styles should be contracted to achieve the required ex fty dates and releasing capacity
• Get written confirmation from factories of their total capacity and the capacity offer to NEXT.
• Follow up to release capacity on time with the suppliers whom we won’t utilize the booked capacity as per the agreed timeline and request for additional space if required.
• Follow up to get the completed order intake report from the key factories
• Analyse performance against the previous months
• Share KPI’s with the factory owners and fix appointments for GM/ GM merchandising to visit factories and discuss corrective actions if required.
• Generate fabric liability reports every month and follow up to update comments, arrange fabric hangers, alert on liabilities with NS risk
• Follow up on air freight authorisation forms from merchandisers and make sure the schedule maintained by finance is up to date.

Requirement:

• Graduate from Textile University
• Good knowledge on data analysis in excel, google sheet
• Good interpersonal communication skill
