Capacity Management Manager (m/f/d)

To strengthen our Freight department in our headquarter at Lübeck, Germany we are looking as soon as possible for a:

Capacity Management Manager (m/f/d)

You ensure the optimal utilization of our freight capacity across our international ferry routes. You manage booking capacities, identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve utilization, and work closely with Booking, Sales, and Operations to implement effective measures.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage available freight capacity for each departure and route
• Analyze booking trends and forecast expected capacity utilization
• Manage allotments, waiting lists, and overbooking, taking cancellations and no-shows into account
• Coordinate measures to optimize capacity utilization in close collaboration with Booking, Sales, and Operations
• Further develop data-driven capacity management tools and meaningful key performance indicators (KPIs)

Your Profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in business, logistics, or a related field
• Experience in capacity management, booking management, or transport logistics
• Strong analytical skills and confidence in working with data and performance indicators
• Proactive mindset, strong decision-making skills, and clear communication
• Very good command of German and English
