Capacity Planning Engineer (IE)

Responsibility:

• Generate and determine install capacity, (machine cap, headcount cap, tooling cap and indirect mater cap)per demand forecast of customer and provide decommit demand by device to CS by monthly and special analysis.

• Database management for supporting APS project (Data source by device level, machine model, tester/handler config and conversion kit etc.)

• Study and generate motion and time, analysis, the statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine the standard quantitative manufacturing data such as UPH, Man machine Ratio, OEE, Utilization, cycle time etc.

• Facilitate production with consideration of major supporting accessories and tooling requirement.

• Calculate and conduct for Test UTL headcount and resource requirement for cost saving and productive improvement.

• Review production plan or schedule, engineering specifications can relate information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing method, procedure and active to establish to establish the standard data for studying and analysis.

• Keep monitoring the actual utilization of critic operation & critic machine for improvement and CapEx mitigation, including call team meetings to drive capacity improvement.

• Develop the method or tools to improve team productivity and maximize efficiency.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3-7 years of experience in Capacity Planning, Factory Planning, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Planning, Production Planning, or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, capacity analysis, resource planning, and production flow management.
• Experience in capacity modeling, demand forecasting, manpower planning, and machine utilization analysis.
• Familiarity with productivity measurement methods such as OEE, UPH, Cycle Time, Utilization, and Capacity Analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience with ERP, APS, MES, or manufacturing databases is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or other data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of semiconductor, electronics, automotive, or high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
